SPRING Exercise and Nutrition tips
Happy Spring! Yippppeeee!
Time for new exercises and healthier nutrition...
Here in Colorado, the Support & Coaching team are pretty
excited that we made it through another winter, to Spring again. (Of course, a new storm is supposed to bring a lot of new
snow to the Rockies next week, but we're enjoying 60° days while we can).
Because it's Spring, we can
look at exercise and nutrition differently. Fresh and Outdoors are the keys to a healthy lifestyle. Here are some tips to
boost your exercise programs and nutrition habits this Spring:
EXERCISE tips for Spring 1) With nicer weather,
take time to exercise outdoors more often. And in addition to regular exercise, participate in more outdoor activities like
hiking, tennis, softball, and rowing. 2) To make your exercise more fun and interesting, plan a destination for your
workout. Plan to walk to a park, or to a scenic viewpoint, or to a river. 3) Avoid driving whenever possible. Run your
local errands on foot or by bicycle. Bring a backpack if you'll be carrying goods. Visit other local places (museums,
church, friends' houses) on foot, too, instead of driving. 4) Include nature observations in your outdoor workouts.
Think about listening for birds, observing flowers coming into bloom, or the rush of a nearby stream.
NUTRITION
tips for Spring 1) Eat more fresh, locally-grown produce with each meal. Your food will be more nutritious, plus it will
help ease seasonal allergies you might get. 2) Include more fresh herbs in each meal. Add locally-grown basil, dill,
rosemary, sage and mint to your dishes. They'll add a delicious, nutritious pep to your foods. 3) Hop on your bike
with a backpack and make ritual visits to your local farmers' market. Farmers' markets become more abundant and frequent
in spring and summer. This gives you an excuse to eat healthy, choose fresh seasonal foods grown by neighborhood
farms, and burn a few extra calories along the way.

Pain Relief tips online vs. face-to-face, plus Green Vines hot-cold therapies, and Biomedics topical relieving cream
Providing pain relief via simple, natural means, like exercise and alternative therapies,
is one of the goals of the Support & Coaching team. We have helped thousands of clients, both online and in Basalt,
Colorado, to live pain-free lives.
However, it's important to also seek professional medical consultation from
your local health providers. We have gotten many emails lately from people with serious medical conditions, seeking help online.
Sometimes you need to have a live, 1:1, personal session with your local health providers, and online help cannot
substitute for this.
Yes, we know we can effectively help most online clients. But we know the benefits of seeing
clients face-to-face!
Having said that, if you are looking for home self-care products, there are a few
that we recommend:
The S & C team knows that the formula for pain relief is often quite simple. We believe
in basic first aid, and stress relief. But these 2 crucial components of pain relief are often overlooked. Together,
in one great set of home therapy products, you can slip into these comfortable herbal products to provide cooling or heat,
with an herbal aromatherapy boost. Green Vines Hot & Cold Herbal Therapy Collection
Next, if you want a topical product for pain relief, this Biomedics cream can be used at home, at work, when
you travel, or in your car for fast relief on-the-go: Topical's Biomedics Tropricin (anti infla pain relief & healing cream) 8 oz
Sometimes, the most effective relief can be enjoyed at home. An easy topical cream
can be applied anywhere, anytime. And at the end of your weary day, your Green Vines can be waiting for you, so you can "slip
into relief".
Take time to de-stress and treat yourself to home therapies!
